A three-year-old toddler in Chicago is accused of pulling a gun on a woman who was in the child’s neighborhood. And MTO News learned that the entire incident was captured on video.
The video, which has since gone viral across social media – shows the Chicago child walking towards a woman who is recording him.
The woman asks the child, “What are you coming over here for?” And the armed little child replies, “You are about to see.”
The surprisingly aggressive child then asks a few questions – and pulls a small caliber gun out of his pants and points the gun at the woman.
With 89 recorded homicides, Chicago went through the deadliest September in nearly 30 years, according to new data MTO News retrieved from the Chicago Police Department.
The number of shootings and homicides in 2021 continues to exceed 2020 rates, new crime data released by the CPD show Friday, as Chicago has now seen 2,726 shootings and 616 homicides through the first nine months of the year.
This murder total is already more than Chicago recorded throughout 2018 or 2019 and marks a 4% increase over the first nine months of 2020.
