Cornwall Fireworks 2021 shows at Bonfire Night including Newquay, Truro, Falmouth, Heartlands, Royal Cornwall Showground

It’s time to put on your gloves and turn on the sparklers, because bonfire night is almost here.

The festivities have already begun, but most of the organized events are still ready to continue this weekend, Friday and Saturday.

There are countless village exhibitions as well as larger shows – which means there is something for everyone.

This year’s events are highly anticipated, especially after most of last year’s impressions were postponed due to coronavirus.

Here’s an overview of some of the fireworks extravaganzas you will not want to miss this year.

1. Wadebridge Drive-In Fireworks

Where: Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge PL27 7JE

When: Saturday, November 6th

Cornwall’s spectacular drive-in fireworks are poised to return to the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge this year, after last year’s event was a roaring success.

The concept of the night is simple – drive in, park and watch the fireworks fill the sky from the comfort of your own car.

A selection of local food and beverage providers will be on hand to serve hot dishes and beverages as well as sweet treats to complete the traditional campfire evening experience.

2. Heartlands Fireworks, Pool

Where: Robinson’s Shaft, Dudnance Ln, Pool, Redruth TR15 3QY

When: Friday, November 5th

When we return for another year, everyone is invited to enjoy an evening of fireworks, bonfires, live entertainment, amusement park attractions and a great selection of food and beverage options on the 19-acre Heartlands Cultural Area in Redruth.

The event starts at with the huge bonfire on the large lawn at. 18.30, with fireworks from kl. 20 and live music throughout.

3. Tencreek Holiday Park, Looe

Where: Tencreek Holiday Park Polperro Rd, Looe PL13 2JR

When: Saturday, November 6th

There is promise of a pork roast, children’s entertainment and of course a breathtaking fireworks display at Tencreek Holiday Park this year.

Tickets will be available for purchase at the entrance; price to £ 5 for adults and anyone under 16 goes free.

4. Bodmin Fireworks, Bodmin

Where: Priory Rd, Bodmin PL31 2AE

When: Friday, November 5th

One of Cornwall’s largest and most spectacular fireworks is held in Bodmin’s football pitch, Priory Park.

In previous years, there has been live music all night, a fun fair and food stalls, making it perfect for all ages.

5. Fireworks and music from Jolly Roger, St. Beetles

Where: Three Tuns Cornwall, The Square, Saint Keverne, Helston, TR12 6NA

When: Friday, November 5th

This fireworks display at the popular Three Tuns pub in Helston features music by Jolly Roger, a bonfire and a fantastic fireworks display.

Book in advance to enjoy delicious food at the pub either before or after the show or enjoy a drink by the fire in the evening.

6. Tregony fireworks night, Truro

Where: Tregony Sports and Social Club, Back Lane Tregony, Truro, TR2 5RP

When: Saturday, November 6th

The Tregony Sports Club, along with the Tregony Clockhouse Players, are holding their annual fireworks show this year.

In addition to the usual fireworks, refreshments and trade show, there will also be a Guy Fawkes competition where all entrants will be awarded a free toffee apple.

7. Port Elliot, near Saltash

Where: Port Eliot Estate, Saint Germans, Saltash, PL12 5ND

When: Friday, November 5th

Now in its fifth year and attracting around 4,000 attendees to the final show. The spectacular show overlooks the expansive park and is backed by the monumental Port Eliot House.

With a variety of grocery stores, old-fashioned hot dogs, candy floss, safe area for star throwers and a great big bonfire, as well as the amazing fireworks, the event promises to be a fun filled evening for the whole family.

8. Cubert Fireworks, Newquay

Where: Cubert, Newquay

When: Saturday, November 6th

In favor of the Cubert Christmas Lights, St Cubert Church and Cubert School PTA, this village exhibition is for a worthy cause.

With a BBQ, bar and – of course – the fireworks, it’s definitely going to be a fun night.

9. Tregolls School Fireworks, Truro

Where: Tregolls School, Chellew Rd, Truro TR1 1LH

When: Friday, November 5th

Without any main exhibition in Truro, the smaller affairs have become a popular choice for the locals. One of the favorites is the Tregolls School fireworks display, which in previous years has boasted a roaring bonfire, glowsticks and tasty treats.

This year, the doors open at 18.30 and will only receive donations for tickets and all proceeds go to the school’s PTA.

10. St. Erme Community Center, Truro

Where: St Erme Community Center, Castle Field Trispen, Truro TR4 9BD

When: Saturday, November 6th

The amazing fireworks in the St Erme Community Center will include a food tent and a bar to keep you warm all evening.

Tickets cost just £ 4 for adults and £ 1 for anyone under 16.

11. The Plume of Feathers, near Newquay

Where: The Plume of Feathers, Mitchell, Newquay TR8 5AX

When: Friday, November 5th

For a traditional bonfire and fireworks, head to The Plume of Feathers in Mitchell.

The doors open at 6pm for the event, but if you want to make an evening out of it, why not book a table for dinner inside the pub before it all begins.

Alternatively, there will be an outdoor bar and eatery serving burgers and beverages throughout the night.

12. Falmouth Fire Station

Where: Falmouth Cricket Club

When: Friday, November 5th

This Friday, Falmouth Fire Station will illuminate the sky with its annual musical fireworks display.

The fantastic Chaos Radio will provide music and entertainment, and there will be stalls to buy refreshments.

The doors open at 6pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. Players are encouraged to arrive well in advance to avoid large crowds at the entrance. Admission is £ 4 for adults and £ 2 for children and it is cash only.

13. Fireworks for the Food Bank

Where: Penpol Creek

When: Sunday, November 7th

If you can not do Friday or Saturday, this Sunday show will ensure you do not miss the fun, as the sky over Penpol Creek is decorated in bright colors.

Pre-booked family tickets (two adults and two children) cost £ 8, or the night will be £ 10, just as all children get a free star thrower!

North Quay Hayle’s first charity fireworks night will run in support of Hayle Food Bank, and all profits will be donated to the charity.
