Donald J. Trump is publishing a book of photographs celebrating his time as president, according to a statement from his office. Entitled “Our Journey Together”, the book contains more than 300 photographs and captions written by Mr. Trump.
The book will be published on December 7. It is published by Winning Team Publishing, an imprint co-founded by Donald Trump Jr. and Sergio Gor, who worked for Mr. Trump’s re-election campaign in 2020. It is unclear whether Mr. Trump bought the book around to traditional publishers, but several industry executives said they had not heard of the book.
“Our Journey Together” – which is priced at $ 74.99 or $ 229.99 for a signed copy – is not a comprehensive look back at his presidency. Rumors of a more exhaustive memoir by Mr. Trump has been circulating in recent months. The former president has boasted of saying no to offers from two publishers. In a statement released through his Political Action Committee this summer, Trump said he “wrote like crazy” and promised that “when the time comes, you will see the book with all the books.”
The image collection will be available for sale through Amazon and Barnes & Noble and on a website called 45books.
Several prominent figures from the Trump administration have signed major book deals, including Kellyanne Conway, Mike Pence and Jared Kushner. Some in the industry have questioned whether a major mainstream publisher would take on a memoir of Mr. Trump, given the controversy such an agreement would likely create. Others have expressed doubts that a book by Mr. Trump, who continues to insist he won the 2020 election, would be factually correct.
