Shortly afterwards, it was reported that Scott would cover the cost of funerals for those who died at the concert, as well as provide free of charge therapy treatment for survivors in collaboration with the mental health organization BetterHelp.
As well as Scott and his label Cactus Jack Records, Samuel and Jackson named several companies in their lawsuits, including Live Nation and ScoreMore, the NRG Park venue, and several security companies associated with the tragedy.
“Mostly, [the security companies] told us where to stand, not let people run in and be safe and not lay hands on anyone, “Jackson said reportedly said during a press conference. “There was no training.”
The case was brought by attorney Tony Buzbee in Houston and claims “negligence”From Scott. It is stated that the compensation is sought to cover the costs of the physical and psychological effects on the victims and the families.
