Thanksgiving day NFL open thread

There are three games on the NFL schedule at Thanksgiving this year, with the Lions hosting the Bears in the early game, the Cowboys taking on the Raiders in the late afternoon game, and the Bills visiting the Saints on Thursday Night Football.

The ideal winners of each game from the Philadelphia Eagles’ perspective:

Bears at Lions: The Bears have the record closest to the Dolphins, who of course swapped their first-round pick in 2022 for the Eagles. The Giants also own the Bears’ first-round pick in 2022, so the more games they win, the better.

Raiders at Cowboys: Do 5-6 Eagles have a chance to catch the 7-3 Cowboys in NFC East? It would definitely help if Dallas lost on Thanksgiving and narrowed their division lead to two games.

Bills at Saints: The Saints are still a half ahead of the Eagles in the NFC wildcard race. The Eagles wanted a tiebreaker over the Saints, with their head-to-head victory over them Week 11.

Spend time with your families today, but if you want to look in and comment on the games, you can do so in the comments section below.

Thank you all for reading along and happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
