Sunny and abnormally hot Friday, 65; Brutally dry stretch ahead for all of Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) – I predict an abnormally hot and dry Friday across Colorado. Front Range peaks around 65 – the record is 74 set in 2017. Mountain heights in the 40s and 50s.

A dry cold front brushes the Front Range Saturday with a drop into the 50s. Partly sunny sky.

High pressure builds up over the next 8 to 10 days. I predict zero rain / snow in most of Colorado until December 4th or later.

The normal altitude right now is 49 degrees. Every day, temperatures in Denver run at least 5 degrees above this.

This will be a difficult stretch of 8-10 days for the ski areas.

Dry period ahead, 26 / 11-12 / 4.
