Vancouver comedian Graham Clark will perform 24 consecutive hours of standup at Small mountain gallery next month.
Clark’s goal is to raise money for a new location for Little Mountain, which is scheduled for closure and demolition. The Mount Pleasant venue has been a welcoming venue for the city’s budding young comedians.
“Little Mountain Gallery’s closure is a huge loss for the Vancouver comedy scene,” Clark said in a news release. “We’ve had two full-time comedy clubs close by, and another long-term comedy hangout, The Kino, was also closed. Our comedy community needs a place where we can really experiment and build new audiences.
“I will try to keep this in mind when I am twenty o’clock,” he adds.
Clark will try to keep the laughs going from Friday, December 17 at. 20:00 to Saturday 18 December at 20.00.
Tickets cost $ 20 and will be available online tomorrow (November 26) right here.
