Met officers fired after sharing WhatsApp photos of murdered sisters | Metropolitan police

Two police officers who took “shameful” photos of the crime scene and described the murdered sisters Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman as “dead birds” on social media have been fired after a court case.

PC Jamie Lewis, 33, and former officer Deniz Jaffer, 47, used the offensive expression as they shared messages on WhatsApp groups after straying from their barricades to take pictures of the two women who were found dead in bushes in Fryent Country Park, Wembley, north-west London.

Lewis will be instantly fired from the force while Jaffer had already retired.
