FOX Bet player wins $ 100,000 in Terry Bradshaw’s cash: ‘I had a one-in-a-million shot’

Nate Colgrove fell to his knees when he realized he had won $ 100,000 in Terry Bradshaw’s cash. Colgrove, an NFL fan, said “the planets suited me” when he won the money with the FOX Bet Super 6 competition.

“There was even a long shot in the last game,” he told Fox & Friends on Wednesday. “You have to guess who wins within four points.”

The FOX Bet Super 6 competition awards cash prizes to players each week, offering a $ 100,000 jackpot to anyone who predicts 6 outcomes correctly. The contest is free to play and has so far paid out more than $ 5 million to players.

Colgrove said he checked his phone five times more to make sure he had won.

The native of Springfield, Nebraska, said he plans to use his winnings to pay for an addition to his home, his upcoming wedding in February, and help pay for his son’s wedding in June.

He also plans to pay off the loan on his car, telling “Fox & Friends” co-hosts and guest Terry Bradshaw himself that this is the first time in 20 years that he will not have to pay a car.

“I am a landscape gardener and it is difficult in the winter to cope,” he said. “You have to make sure you hold on tight enough. And this is going to get me through and get started next season.”

Bradshaw, a FOX NFL Sunday co-host, had this gentle reminder to Colgrove: “Don’t forget one thing, it’s not tax free.”

Colgrove’s enthusiasm, however, was not dampened.

“I had a shot at one in a million,” he said. “It was crazy.”

“I have more money for you,” Bradshaw joked, carrying a briefcase full of cash.

Colgrove told Bradshaw he would try another jackpot.

“I’m still playing,” he said.
