ALAMEDA COUNTY, TO (November 9, 2021)Wednesday afternoon, 72-year-old Wilma Chan was pronounced dead after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Shoreline Drive.

Authorities responded on the spot and found Chan, who was already unresponsive. Reports say she was hit by a car around 2.30pm while walking her dog.

She suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to Highland Hospital, where she later died.

The driver of the car, a woman, remained at the scene and is cooperating in the investigation. At present, the cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
