Mr. Andrews abbreviated the message and told the audience, “to maybe give you a quieter time, I’m going now”.
People could be heard shouting abuse and “firing Dan Andrews” as he was led from the event into a car.
9News understands that Mr Andrews left the place on the advice of Victoria Police.
They needed a police escort to safely leave parliament as they were ravaged by protesters.
