“We look forward to bringing our new concept to customers in the city later this year.”

Elliot Cumming, senior asset manager at the building’s landlord London & Scottish Property Investment Management, said: “Norfolk House is located in a prime part of Birmingham city center.

“The strong location, with proximity to other businesses and the influx of workers, shoppers and visitors, makes it a great place for HungryPanda to bring its new store model to market.”

The deal was brokered by real estate consulting firm Avison Young.

Associate Guy Sankey added: “Birmingham’s retail and leisure sectors are returning strongly from the pandemic, so it’s great to see another company committing to the city and adding its offering.

“We look forward to seeing the HungryPanda team launch their new site, which will undoubtedly be a great addition to this vibrant part of the Chinese Quarter.”
