Soirette cake and macaron boutique have announced that it is closing after a decade of operation.
The Coal Harbor store is known for its whimsical treats and photo-worthy creations for Vancouver’s annual Hot Chocolate Festival.
In its announcement to supporters, the store 1433 W Pender Street thanked its valued customers and informed them that the last day of operation would be September 21st.
“The closure of the store was not an easy decision and we considered many options with lots of considerations about the future of our brand,” the announcement read.
The brand also said that Soirette “does not disappear completely” and suggested that exciting things were to come for the much-loved local name.
