For group calls, all participants’ screens will be merged and displayed in a grid view with the speaker box checked.

Users will also be able to use Portrait mode during video calls to blur the background. In addition, there are also options for configuring the microphone with three modes – Standard, Voice Isolation and Wide Spectrum. Users will now be able to invite others using a special web link – even if they are on Windows or Android software.

iPadOS 15 now comes with new multitasking features that let users customize the way their iPads screen is used. The multitasking menu allows users to create a full screen, Slide Over, Split View and a floating window in some iPad models. Users can also add widgets to various apps on their home screen. The new software lets users take notes on any app through a separate note window that can be called in different ways.

Links shared by other users via the Messages app on iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be categorized under the ‘Shared with you’ feature. This feature is built into Photos, Safari, Apple Music, the Apple Podcast, and the Apple TV app. Users can change clothes, headgear on their Memoji and also add some accessibility accessories like cochlear implants, oxygen tubes and soft helmets. The layout of the images in the Messages app has also been updated.

Another new feature for iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 is Focus Mode. This new functionality allows users to activate only those messages from the apps that they consider important. Apple has provided some presets like driving, fitness, gaming, mindfulness, reading and more. However, users can also customize their own focus function. Other users know if users have Enabled Focus mode, as apps like Messaging will display a message.

Apple has also redesigned the messaging center. Messages now display contact pictures and larger app icons that make it easier for users to distinguish between them. There is also a new feature called Message Summary that can be scheduled. The Cupertino-based technology giant has also redesigned Apple Maps. Safari also gets a new tab at the bottom, tab groups, extensions and voice search.
