Most advanced cameras on an iPhone

The camera system on both iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max has new sensors and lenses for all three cameras, where all three have night mode. With the latter, you can record photos and videos with a minimum focus distance of 2 cm. Finally, both models have a new 77 mm telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom technology.

Huge leaps in videography

The entire iPhone 13 series now comes with a new Cinematic mode that allows for automatic focus changes when recording video. For additional creative control, you can also change the focus of the video during and after a video has been recorded, along with background blur, making the iPhone 13 series the only device that can do so.

If you take things a step further, you will also find ProRes support here. This is an advanced video codec that is widely used as the final delivery format for commercials, feature films and broadcasts. This powerful new pro workflow is powered by the new camera hardware and advanced video encoders and decoders in the A15 Bionic CPU.

A15 Bionic CPU with 5-core GPU

The A15 Bionic CPU on the iPhone 13 Pro series is even more advanced with a new 5-core GPU. This means that it provides the fastest graphics performance in any smartphone, up to 50 percent faster than the leading competition. Otherwise, you get the benefit of 6-core CPU and the new 16-core Neural Engine for faster performance.

ProMotion display

On its iPhone 13 Pro series, Apple has finally introduced ProMotion technology. 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR monitors on smartphones are the most advanced ever with a 20 percent smaller notch.

They support an adaptive refresh rate from 10Hz to 120Hz for bespoke performance when required. Together with iOS 15 and the new A15 Bionic CPU, the higher refresh rate will make movements, animations and activities in gameplay feel faster and more responsive.

New design and improved battery life

The iPhone 13 Pro Series has a first-class flat design made up of exceptional materials, including surgical stainless steel and a matte glass structure. The front of the devices is protected with a ceramic screen with extra durability thanks to IP68 water and dust resistance. In terms of battery life, the iPhone 13 Pro lasts up to an hour and a half longer compared to last year’s iPhone 12 Pro, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max lasts two and a half hours longer than the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
