Katie Price has closed media speculation about her relationship with fiancé Carl Woods.
Over the weekend, The Sun published an article claiming that the reality star had been heard at the National Television Awards, where she said she had ended things with Carl.
However, when she posted on her Instagram story on Sunday, Katie insisted that this was not the case.
Next to a screenshot of the tabloid’s headline “Katie Price dumped fiancé Carl Woods and went on booze in the NTAs”, she wrote: “It’s a shame to have such a good night that these horrible stories about me come out . “
“In fact, I never went out and said I had dumped Carl,” Katie continued. “It’s not true, I was actually proud to be with my son Harvey. I wish people would leave me [and] Carl alone. ”
Katie participated in the NTAs with her 19-year-old son Harvey Thursday night, where their documentary Katie Price: Harvey & Me had been nominated for an award.
Earlier this week, Carl spoke out to insist he had never hit Katie after a man was arrested for physically assaulting her the previous month.
Back in September was the former glamor model driven to the hospital with facial injuries after an alleged physical assault.
Shortly afterwards, a 32-year-old man was arrested “on suspicion of assault, theft and coercive and controlling behavior”. The man was later released on bail.
Carl denied rumors of the incident and insisted: “I have been quiet until now due to the police investigation. However, I have had such a hard time keeping quiet on social media because of the speculation and shocking abuse I have received.
“Anyone who thinks I hit Katie, you are completely lost and have no idea the reality of the situation. I have never and never would do anything to hurt Katie. The truth will be told. ”
Katie is the mother of five children, from previous relationships with football player Dwight Yorke and her ex-husbands Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler.
She and Carl, a car dealer and former Love the island participant, announced their engagement in April 2021, after nearly a year of dating.
